Home / After School Program
School-age · Limited spots
The best three hours of their day, handled
Pickup, a snack, homework, and a real martial arts class — so the child who gets in your car at six is tired, fed, and calmer than the one you dropped off.
How the afternoon runs
Not a holding pen with a TV in it
Most after-school care is supervision. This is a program. Students arrive, get a snack, sit down for homework with staff who actually check it, and then change into a uniform and train.
They're getting exercise, instruction, and structure during the exact window most kids spend on a screen — and they're making friends with the same kids they see on the mat at night and at summer camp.
- Transportation from school to the dojang
- A snack and a supervised homework block before class
- A full Taekwon-Do class as part of the afternoon, not an add-on
- Instructors who know your child by name and rank, not by roster number
- The same staff and the same standards your child sees in evening classes
What you're buying back
Three problems this solves
Ask any working parent in South Tampa what 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. costs them.
One less 3 p.m. problem in your week, handled by people you already trust with your kid.
It happens here, with staff, before dinner — so your evening isn't the negotiation.
Three hours of moving, instruction, and other kids, at the exact time of day when the tablet usually wins.

Spots are capped on purpose
We limit after-school enrollment so the ratio stays low enough for homework help to be real help. Call the front desk for current availability, pickup schools, and pricing — it's a conversation, not a form.

Questions about this program
Is this a good fit for a child with ADHD?
It's one of the most common reasons families come to us. Classes are built out of short, high-attention blocks with an immediate, visible result — you kick the target or you don't. Rules are stated plainly and enforced consistently, which is how kids build strong, healthy boundaries.
We are instructors, not clinicians, and we don't make medical claims. What we can tell you is what parents tell us about homework and mornings.
My child is shy and has never done a sport. Will they be lost?
No. Taekwon-Do is an individual sport done in a group environment — every student works at their own rank and their own pace, and instructors correct one student at a time. Beginners start in a beginner line with beginner expectations.
Shy kids tend to do well here precisely because nobody is passing them the ball and nobody is watching them fail in front of a crowd.
Can parents watch class?
Yes. Parents are welcome to stay and observe any class. Plenty of parents watch for a few weeks and then end up on the mat in the adult program themselves.
What are the class times?
Class times are set by age group and rank, and they shift with the school calendar, so we keep the current schedule off the public site. Request it with the form on this page and we'll send you the schedule for your age group along with the web special.
