Summer · Weekly sessions
Nine weeks that don't happen on a couch
Taekwon-Do, field trips, and swimming, run by the same instructors your kids already know. Camp fills from the inside out, so ask early.
What a camp day holds
Action-packed on purpose
Camp days are built to use a kid up. Morning training, games and drills, a field trip or swimming, lunch, and an afternoon class — the kind of schedule that produces a child who falls asleep in the car.
Because it runs out of the same dojang with the same instructors, campers aren't handed to a stranger in June. They already know the staff, the rules, and half the other kids.
- Taekwon-Do training every day, for all levels including complete beginners
- Field trips and swimming built into the week
- Games, drills, and team activities between training blocks
- Familiar instructors — the same people who teach evening classes
- A week that's structured enough to be restful for parents, too
Why families rebook
What makes this camp different
There are a lot of camps in South Tampa. Here's the honest case for this one.
Professionalism and compassion from instructors your child has bowed to a hundred times, not seasonal hires.
Campers leave in June knowing things they didn't know in May. Beginners often test for a belt by summer's end.
Camp friends turn into evening-class friends turn into the reason a kid keeps training in the fall.

Questions about this program
My child is shy and has never done a sport. Will they be lost?
No. Taekwon-Do is an individual sport done in a group environment — every student works at their own rank and their own pace, and instructors correct one student at a time. Beginners start in a beginner line with beginner expectations.
Shy kids tend to do well here precisely because nobody is passing them the ball and nobody is watching them fail in front of a crowd.
Is this a good fit for a child with ADHD?
It's one of the most common reasons families come to us. Classes are built out of short, high-attention blocks with an immediate, visible result — you kick the target or you don't. Rules are stated plainly and enforced consistently, which is how kids build strong, healthy boundaries.
We are instructors, not clinicians, and we don't make medical claims. What we can tell you is what parents tell us about homework and mornings.
Can parents watch class?
Yes. Parents are welcome to stay and observe any class. Plenty of parents watch for a few weeks and then end up on the mat in the adult program themselves.
What are the class times?
Class times are set by age group and rank, and they shift with the school calendar, so we keep the current schedule off the public site. Request it with the form on this page and we'll send you the schedule for your age group along with the web special.
