Privacy Policy

Traditional Taekwondo Center of South Tampa (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this website only. It does not cover what happens once you are a student with us, which is handled by the paperwork you sign at the school.
What we collect
Information you give us
Our enquiry forms ask for your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, and which program you are interested in. You choose whether to tick the box asking us to text you. Nothing on this site asks for payment details, government identifiers, or health information, and you should not send those to us through it.
Information collected automatically
When you submit a form we also record which page you submitted it from, the page address,
the website that referred you, the date and time, and any campaign tags in the link you
arrived through (for example utm_source or gclid). This tells us
which of our efforts actually reach families; it does not identify you beyond what you typed.
Like effectively every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses. We do not use those logs to build profiles.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, and no cross-site tracking on it.
Two things do touch your browser:
- A single local storage entry. If a form submission fails to reach us — a dropped connection, for instance — your details are held in your own browser so the enquiry is not silently lost. It stays on your device, is never transmitted anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes it.
- An embedded Google Map on our contact and location sections. It loads only when you scroll to it, and once it loads Google may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.
We also load fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google’s servers but sets no cookies.
Text messages
Ticking the SMS box on a form is optional. You can send us an enquiry without it and we will still reply. If you do tick it, we may send occasional messages about classes, availability and enrollment. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
We do not share or sell mobile opt-in information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of data described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with any third party.
When you give SMS consent we record the exact wording you agreed to and the moment you agreed to it, so that both of us have an accurate record.
How we use what we collect
- To answer your enquiry and send you class information.
- To contact you about enrollment, availability and the programs you asked about.
- To understand which of our advertising and outreach actually works.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else handles your information
Enquiries submitted through this site are delivered into our customer relationship management system, which is operated on our behalf by a third-party provider and used only to run our own communications with you. Our website hosting provider stores the site and its server logs. These providers act on our instructions; they are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Children
Our programs are for children as well as adults, but this website is intended for use by parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we are in contact with you about classes, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Your choices
- Stop the texts. Reply STOP to any message.
- Stop the emails. Use the unsubscribe link, or tell us.
- See what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. Contact us and we will deal with it.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection and enquiries are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
